Here's for the good times!

On this past Friday, I concluded my Prodocencia English course at UFTM. In class we learned about technology as a teaching resource. It was quite interesting. We also had the opportunity to watch the fascinating movie “Second Line.” In addition, I learned the importance of making new friends, because through these friendships, I have the opportunity to be always learning more. The professors were very well prepared and they were able to conduct classes in an intelligent way that united us all. I leave here my appreciation to all the professors, especially Angela and Virginia. I also want to thank all my classmates for the good times we shared. I hope to be able to participate again. Kisses!!!

Professor Luciana taught a very interesting class on this day. She spoke about student/teacher interaction, their flexibility, interest that both parties must demonstrate and also about the importance of being well informed, in order to keep classes interesting and up to date.

Today I attended a lecture which was provided by Macmillan. I loved how Professor Marcelo conducted the lecture. It was very enjoyable. He said something that stuck with me, and that I will share with everybody:

Physics Teacher: “Isaac Newton was sitting under a tree when an apple fell on his head and he discovered gravity. Isn’t that wonderful”?

Student: “Yes, Sr, if he had been sitting in class looking at books like us, he wouldn’t have discovered anything”!

Today we spent the day at a ranch, where we emerged ourselves in the universe of the English language. Because the method of learning involved games, our day was very pleasurable. Everything that was presented to us was very useful. Virginia, our teacher, was fantastic! She was able to get us involved in the activities in a very special way.
